The Emergency Medical Technician is a Part-Time position. EMT’s will not work more than 1,000 hours in a fiscal year, and a typical schedule is approximately 20 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • EMT Certification

  • CPR β€œHealthcare Provider” card issued by the American Heart Association or equivalent

  • 18 years of age with a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

  • California Class C Driver’s License with a satisfactory record

  • Physical fitness and ability to perform basic physical tasks, continuously move +/- 25lbs, and lift up to 50 lbs

Compensation

$23.37-$29.83 per hour

Part-Time, Up to 20 hours per week

  • Retirement

    Participation in a retirement plan is mandated by Federal Law, and employees will be enrolled in the Public Agency Retirement System (PARS): PARS retirement: Employer contribution of 3.75% and employee contribution of 3.75%.

  • Sick Leave

    Sick Leave in accordance with California’s Paid Sick Leave Law (AB 1522).
